Today I'm heading up to DC with Perpetuum for his gig with Stakka at the Rock & Roll Hotel. He's become one of my closest friends over the past few years to watch his production grow from music I hated, to some of my current and perhaps all-time favorite records.
I'm rather sad to be moving from here because generally we're the only two people in this area that true DNB nerds. In that, there's the fact that we identify with each other; two Black American DNB heads both primarily influenced by Jazz, Funk, and Hip Hop and hold up Metalheadz as the essence of what we think DNB should always have been.
There are not many of us.
