the sxsw show went great....

today all i have to do is lounge go to lunch with some friends and see a great show tonight at the vibe.

i am excited, i finally get to see kristen in like three weeks, the one bad thing about being one the road.

Have fun today. The anti-sxsw thing was okay. It's going on all weekend. Today, I'm gonna go see John Schooley's One Man Band at Waterloo, and maybe over to Cheapo to see some stuff. Not sure what I'm doing tonight. Maybe I'll see you out.

I agree, frogstomp is by far the best. Thats my favorite album also. Like I said though I love classical so Neon was great as well and the lyrics far superior then Frogstomp.
Ever hear of Rasputina? They have cellos and violins as main instruments. Female singer and back up vocalist is female who is the bassist. Reminds me of Poe.

What cd is your fav? I bought the last one they made and was disgusted with it. Each cd is different, an upgrade if you will. They grew with experience. Neon Ballroom was amazing, but the 4th one man I was just amazed at how bad it was. I love the garage sound they began with on Frogstomp more then anything. One of my favorite things is classical so I loved the mixture of guitars, viloins, drums, cellos, etc. Piano also, David Helfgot appeared on the 1st track on Neon ballroom "Emotion Sickness." If you haven't seen Shine you wouldn't know who is is probably.

Good luck with the band. I'll see you guys if you get a gig set up for May. Always love going to 6th street.

ok last night kicked....
we played and headlined the outside stage at red eyed fly, it was some much fun. the best part about it was that the bass player of the ridalin kids come up to me and told me how much he liked the music........yea!!!!

can't wait to hit the road this week, going to have some amazing shows!!!!

I guess it depends on what you're into. I lived there for 10 years. Basically, I left because I was uninspired. It's really expensive to live there. Crime (violent) was on the rise. I met some great people there, but found people to be arrogant and rude as a whole. Like I said, I did my time there. It was time to move on. I had the opportunity to move back there and resume work at my old job. I turned it down. I'll probably go back and visit sometime in the future. Hey, it might be your thing though. Check it out.
