OWWWW,
new shoes haven't arrived. my feet hurt. I have blisters and I think one of the bones in my foot is sprained. Seriously, this is the only sucky part of the job, that I can't take a step without being in pain. the work itself is sooo easy, but it is maddening to do it with my feet screaming in protest.

Busy and tired.
edited to add: Work is great. I'm getting new shoes for work this week, and I hope they will help my feet not to hurt.
Here's what I own for food:
3 cans of green beans
2 cans of corn
1 can of creamed corn
7 slices of bread
6 eggs
two boxes of macaroni and cheese
4 cans of tomato soup...

hellooooooooo macaroni and cheese. New shoes are always great. I know because I work at a job where my feet hurt all day.
"all flesh is grass..."
I rode home on the bus, my hands tightly clasping my newly hemmed jeans. I looked around at the people who occupied the seats around me; they each had their story. they were books, and I was riding a library home. Their story was the anxious voice of progress. They all had forged goals from the past, hopes and dreams for...

man, working at night and sleeping, I can't post as much. I'll be happy if I can leave you all messages at least
Work is still great. the only trouble is my feet hurt really bad, because of my shoes I think. I ordered some new "crews for shoes" shoes, so I hope they will alleviate my problem.
E3 isn't telling me anything I didn't...

one thing about working is having to dress up...it's so uncomfortable when you have to wear pantyhose in the summer....

My job is pretty sucky...
Finding just one thing would be next to impossible.
Finding just one thing would be next to impossible.
Well... first day at work, I'm liking it. It's pretty simple work:
*sweep the aisles
*sweep everyplace else
*scrub (kindof like wet-buffing) the floors
*buff the floor
*sweep the floor
*clean a bathroom
*vacuum the carpet
*empty the outside trash
*sweep the parking lot
*go home
8 hours of pretty much just sweeping. the hardest thing is learning to use the scrubbing machine and the...

I'm like a bull in a china shop pretending to be a Minotaur in a antiques store.... That's gonna keep me up all night. Glad you like your job. Machines are fun, aren't they? I like using the oversize scanner & printer at Kinko's.
How are things going, you ask? Well, not much is happening in my life. My financial situation is stable -- I had racked up a significant credit card debt, but I'm on zero interest until forever and can pay it off by mid-next year. I suppose I'll put the mundane details of my existence into my journal so there's at least something there. Check my page whenever.

I am hoping everything goes well. Have a great weekend!
well, I start work today. I'll be cleaning a store all night. I'm very happy, I need the work and I need the money. I just have no idea what I'll do for "lunch"... I might need to go pick up a sandwich before my shift, because I don't have anything here. we'll see what happens tonight; and if I eat before, I can probably...

Good luck with work......hope you had something real good to eat.
Well, It's monday.
I get to go downtown and pick up my jeans; they got hemmed by Tommy the Tailor.
In geek related news, it's E3 week! I hope to hear some new stuff about the following games:
StarwarsGalaxies: Space Expansion
World Of Warcraft
Resident Evil 4
Half Life 2
I'm sure there will be other tidbits, like Nintendo's new handheld and Sony's PSP handheld....

I need a job so bad i need to get a car but because i live in the car cancer state the only good cars i can afford are late 80s and most are only a v4 man that just sounds so weak. good luck with the new job i had a late night job once it was so hard to switch my rythems around to night time.
sweetbuns:

I would be scared to do it again

The problem with keeping a journal is having something to write.
Here's some random facts about me:
-My best time for solving the Rubik's Cube is 1 minute 20 seconds for a 3x3 cube and 45 minutes for a 4x4. I've only solved a 4x4 6 times; I had two of them, but they both broke on the third solving.

Those are some interesting facts.
hylian42:
-I solve a rubiks in 3-4 minutes consistently. Never tried the 4x4 though.
-T-shirts of any color except white, and loose blue jeans.
-I hardly ever 'beat' video games. Get halfway through and start playing another.
-I never wrote more than 4 pages at a time in school. However I have written volumes of C++ code on my own time.
-I'm right-handed but my writing sucks, and my left is more comfortable with several tasks, in which my right serves as a clamp. I'm not quite ambidextrous, but I'm close.
-Gadgets rule. Whoever's got the most gadgets (and actually uses them) wins.

Here's a few songs. The first is by the very talented Rocky Votolato, and the second is by me.
Death-Right
By Rocky Votolato
You'll die young if you live so carefully
There are risks you must take to pay this world
I know it would never be that easy
I have not yet earned the right to die
I want you to hear me screaming...

Have fun working on new music. I liked the lyrics you wrote, they are good.
Hmmm, time and place perhaps Japan or China early 1900s.

I went to Starbucks today, and behind the counter was the absolute cutest barista. She told me she liked my shirt!
So now it's official: I'm in deep smit.
I'm also bored out of my mind right now... I want to work, but I want a good job that I'll like to work at; and those jobs could be a month off. Being sick doesn't...

??? How the fuck does a CD shatter in the drive? and the DVD player... ouch. Hey, good luck with the Starbucks girl... you won't need it
Never seen a movie at a drive-in. Have watched several in the car though, on a portable player. One time when we took a road trip (before DVDs were so big), we actually brought a VCR, a 3-inch TV and a power inverter that produces 110-volt AC from the cigarette lighter. We are such technology freaks.
Get well, dude. Or else.

Truth in my opinon does not need to be defined.
It simply is.
I think it is in all things.
I think it is the very root of existance.
those things humans call truth I simply see as signposts.
I see truth as going beyond the source.
by its very nature being beyond man's ability to define.
If something "is" then it has a peice of truth.
it's a jigsaw puzzle.
but to understand the whole, you really only need to know one peice.
asking me to define truth, is like asking me where souls come from.
I could give you millions of different answers, but you can only really understand by going there yourself.
...
What mankind believes makes a ripple on the surface of truth.
life is just a place to explore nothingness.
....
I really cannot explain my concept of truth in words.

I would like to be able to read people's minds. Even though I already feel like I can be very perceptive....
