This weekend I sent out 15 resumes. I'm really hoping I get 1 callback per 15. I think I'm worth 15 call backs, but right now isn't the time to be prideful. I'll take anything I can get, and I know it. pretty much my mentality is, refresh craigslist every 30 minutes and fire off resumes. if I just keep it up, I'll get rewarded.
That's the hope, anyways.
My weekend was good, I got to spend time with friends and talk about things... and stuff. nothing spectacular, but it's just nice to get out and about.
Tomorrow is laundry day. I'm completely excited. the prospect of cleaning clothes fills me with hopeful optimism... or at least, I like clean clothes.
I think this week wasn't good to me in the way I expected. I expected to get a job, but no such luck. Still, I had a good time with some friends, and I'm still kicking, and there's a lot in my life I'm happy about. And... well, I guess that's sumthin'.
