Well, looks like the new gameplan is as follows.

move on the 20th, drive to MD solo. Cairo needs her vacation to be a vacation, and I support that. I'm sure everyone in Seattle and BC are sad that they won't get to meet her, and I'm sad for them - she's an amazing individual.

I have till the 20th to sell my desk, to pack and ship 50% of my stuff, and to clean the shithole apartment I live in. I feel bad for my roommates; there's no way they are gonna get their deposit back. in fact, I'd bet that they get charged for the crap that's been done to my apartment. ahh well.

so I guess my real deadline is the 18th or so, to have everything packed. then It's just a matter of tearing down the bed and cleaning.

I'm so not looking forward to the drive... but I'm really looking forward to what comes after it when I'm in MD. Being with Cairo makes it worth it.
