So.
There's this wedding.
In Idaho.
That I can go to.
If I go, I miss 3 days of work, plus it will cost 80-100 bucks for gas, and I don't even know if my car will (or should) make it. Then there's the family to deal with.
Logistically, I'm going to lose $300 to go to this. I'm probably not going to attend.
I don't know what it is, but I hate going to weddings.
Wait...
I know exactly what it is. Same reason blind people don't go to art museums; I hate them because I'm afraid I'll never have my own, so the experience is painful for me.
I'd hoped that this wedding would be the first one I went to without that emotional B.S., but I was wrong.
It's pretty sad when paying off debt is more important to me than seeing friends. What does that say about me?

It says you'd rather earn money and scrape up a living than go broke to see your friends for 1 day. I'm sure they'll understand. Sucks, though.

Well, it means you've grown up and responsible. There will be other times to see your friends.
