So, I applied at a place yesterday. I'll do another couple of Apps today as well before bed. Oh, and I have to call the girl
But about my current job... I would like, in a perfect world, to give two weeks notice. However, I'm on the horns of a dilemma. If I give my two weeks now, I could be out of a job if I don't get another. If I wait until I get the new job to give my notice, I will end up working 80 hours during the crucial first two weeks of my new job, getting at mos 5 hours of sleep a dayj doable, but taxing. Well... I decided the latter option. It will be hard, sure, but it will 1) show my "determined character" and 2) it will gain me an extra 500 bucks. Which is better than not having a job.
Assuming the new job doesn't conflict with my old one.... Sigh. Too much to think about.
Also, a small detail about the girl... She's attending college out of state, so I don't have much time to build the relationship as it is... Working 80 hours a week won't help...
Edit: I just talked to my manager, and I'm dropping to just working friday, saturday, and sunday. 24 hours a week, and it most likely won't conflict with a new job (assuming the hours would be 9-5). Only problem would be the sunday night/monday morning 16 hour stretch, but... At least I'd be rewarded with pleasant nighttime sleep
