11 days till ink day!

here's the update on this girl: She has had a very troubled life, it sounds like. there was abuse, and it's really tragic what happened. She told me her life story, and my heart went out to her... she also has diabetes type A, which makes her nearly blind at times and will kill her eventually, perhaps in less than 10 years. She's only 19, and I think she's suffered a great deal, and the rest of her life seems to point to more of the same. I almost cried hearing her story... it was heartbreaking.

I'm sure that her affection for my character is simply that. I don't think it extends to me, and if I can give her a moment of happiness in this game, it's worth it to me. I really don't enjoy these kind of "cyber" relationships; I would rather have a corporeal one, with touching and more intimacy than a screen and keyboard can provide. but this girl deserves some happiness, and I don't want to hurt her. Seems to me she plays this Online game as if it was her real life... it certainly makes more sense and is less scary than the life she has had so far.

I'm getting my benefits squared away today, and also will be calling the Tattoo Parlor today as well. I'm cooking myself corn on the cob and a nice cheeseburger for breakfast, I've had a long day and could use some comfort food.
