It's been a while, I know.

This morning after work I'm going to meet with the pastor of the church
I go to. We are good friends, so this isn't unusual per se. I'm not
quite certain what we will talk about, whether I'll give him my usual
"everything's fine" speech or if I'll actually have a conversation with
him. See... He's not as open-minded as I am. I'm just hoping he doesn't
bring anything besides me up.

I know he will talk about my "parents", the foster family I spent my
high school years with. I've been reevaluating my "relationship" with
them, and I don't know exactly how to put this, but I really think they
did me a great disservice. All I wanted at that time was a place to live
and live normally. Which for me, at that time was going to a normal
school, getting a job and a car. Things I couldn't do inside a treatment
center, for example. It should have been a good deal; I get a place to
live a life, and they get $610 a month as their pay, with my expenses
also paid on top of that. Of course, they wanted to BE parents. To them
that meant punishment for the error of my ways, which their chief method
of punishmnet was taking away my music priviledges. Not listening, mind
you; PLAYING music, as in my instruments. So my creativity and talent
was squelched. The first thing my foster father said to me was: "I have
two rules in my house. 1) I'm always right. 2) if in doubt, refer to
rule #1. " so I spent my entire time living there in fear of his "my way
or the highway" absloutist tyranny. Also, a standing rule in this house
was "don't you dare make us look bad". See, these people were old
baptist ministers, and I was now living in their "glass house". I went
in this whole deal wanting it to work, but I ran into so much conflict
and fear. Now they wonder why I don't call them. I want to get as far
away from them as possible.

Anyways, so that's something to talk about with the preacherman.

Question: what's the cleverest thing you've you've ever thought of?

man... taking away your creative channels as punishment. That sucks.

Cleverest thing EVER? I dunno man. I crack jokes all the time, and honestly I can get pretty damn witty. Ask my whole family.
