Today is my 1 year anniversary with GIBrett. Right now he's out on a bike run for the morning and when he gets back, we plan on doing Veggie Heaven for lunch because it's where we grabbed lunch on the run the first day we met (when he was helping me move everything from my old apartment).

It's been a long, tough year, but we made it through (just barely, at times) and I think we're stronger for it. We have a lot of issues to work out, but hopefully when baby comes, some of those will iron themselves out (while of course, new ones will form due to the new stress). He is sooooo close to finally getting his EMT certification transferred to NJ and I think once it does and he finds a position, he will be a lot happier and thus, a lot more accepting of the changes that have been going on within our relationship (and dare I say, new family?). Seeing him happier will in turn make me feel less like shit and maybe things will start to take a turn for the better.

OHHHHH. Last night I FINALLY got back into making some soaps. I made a batch of Citrus Sea Salt bars, scented with Lemongrass and Bergamot Essential Oils. I'm happy so far. I just need to keep on it, even when I'm tired, I NEED to do this. Unfortunately the only time I have to make soap is after Finn's bedtime. When baby comes, I'm not sure how it will work.
