I fucking love Brett so much. I know that he's trying with everything that's going on...and there's a LOT going on in our lives right now. He works so much that he doesn't have time for himself and I need to remember that. Sure, I don't get much time for myself either, with FInn and all, but I accepted that the day I found out I was pregnant. For some, it's not so easy to do that. And some never do and that's ok.
I finally decided on a New Years Resolution: to be more understanding of Brett's feelings and stresses. Just because he doesn't voice them as often as I voice my concerns or what-have-you, doesn't mean they don't exist for him or can be pushed aside.
I can't expect myself to just be ok with everything or shut off my reactions completely to things, but I need to edit myself when I get upset. I have a very hard time doing that, as I'm sure many others do. I want to grow old with this man. I want to be the one he can turn to with anything.
And thank you to all of you who are there for me when I need you. <3
