i have a job.

at a coffeehouse. i won't know how much they'll pay me or how many hours they want me until tomorrow, but it's a job. i am also working some temp work tomorrow from 5 am to noon, which sucks hardcore. but it's 50 bucks i didn't have before.

it would have been really cool to work at the humane society, but since the bus won't take me there, that just wasn't doable. today i got a letter that said the office job i applied for (the one that actually paid well and had benefits) was interested in furthering me along the screening process, along with 133 other applicants. and then i threw it in the trash. because i bet at least 131 of those other applicants have normal colored hair, and no facial piercings, and i bet at least 90 of them have some clerical experience. so fuck that.

...and the computer is fixed, finally. i think i said already that it was just the cooling fan. dear god, i missed my computer.

i really should be sleeping now, since i'll be getting up at 4:30 am.
