well, after recalling that i can turn off images in firefox, here i am. in the computer lab.

my computer died. it was running very loudly for quite some time. i imagine that noise was the cooling fan. then, the other day, that noise sputtered, then stopped completely, and my computer was silent. everything i had open kept running... the computer didn't shut down or anything. but i recognized that anything inside the computer NOT running is NOT good, so i shut down. and after i dusted the inside out with some compressed air, and tried to reboot, whatever the loud thing was still wasn't making any noise, and the screen apologized to me and said it was sorry it couldn't start windows.

so i have to take it into gateway... i think i still have it all under warantee. unless they won't help me because i have a pirated version of XP. then i'm fucked.

needless to say, this is very upsetting... i love my computer.

if anyone has any suggestions, or ideas about what might have gone wrong, feel free to let me know. that would be great. *sniffle*

also, i have exams, starting tomorrow and going through the 21st. so wish me luck... hopefully i don't lose my freakin' mind.
