yesterday was awesome.
mat walked me home from work. the night before i had used some chalk to mark on a shirt i was cutting up. i left it out and mat made use of it... on the way home, he had written "i love you leah" about every half block, on the sidewalk and in the road, even up to the doorstep where he wrote on the wood of the porch.
way to turn a girl's heart to mush.
then at 7, we went to the madrollindolls first roller derby game. it surpassed all of my expectations. the setup was amazing, the mascots were hilarious, the girls were badass! there was arm wrestling, making out, spanking, fights, short skirts, and an exciting game!
all of you that live in madison, where the hell were you if you weren't there?!
the event sold out completely... over 600 tickets, and there were still people standing by at the door trying to get in.
anyway, after the derby there were northern lights! they were beautiful! in green and grey and red... neil came out to the lake with us and took some awesome pictures.
so now i have to begin on the hell that is 30 pages of essays by next week... wish me luck!
