i don't believe in karma in the common sense of the word, that some great force will bring back to you what you deserve (and i realize this isn't the technical meaning).
however, in a basic sense, you do reap what you sow. for example, when you're a landlord and you force someone to go without a phone for two months because you're too lazy to take care of your responsibilities, when you don't help them get back in their house when they lost a key because you claim you don't have another one, when you fuck them out of every penny possible in a security deposit for an undamaged apartment, these things come back to you.
if not in the form of a lightning bolt to the skull, perhaps in the form of a brick through your window. or a keyed car.
i'm just saying.
