the other day mat and i went to the arboretum for a picnic. we picked up orchata on the way, which i love. we sniffed crabapple blossoms and fell asleep in the grass, and when we woke up, there were wild turkeys near us. one of them had all his tail feathers up and was looking at us menacingly.
i couldn't emphasize enough in this journal how in love i am with this boy.
yesterday, he went to get tattooed by our friend dave. twas a coverup of a bad plaid tattoo on his leg, which is now 2 black bands. it looks like a sock, i like it.
there is way too much to do for school... i'll finally be free from it on the 14th.
i'm mega poor at the moment. i can't even buy groceries! mat gave me a 5 dollar bill to buy some lunch and when i picked up bread, cheese and avocado at the store i was thinking "oh god, please make this less than $5, it'll be so embarrassing if i have to put this avocado back."
but as soon as school is over, i'll be able to work more, and all that shouldn't be a problem.
in august, i'm moving into a nice one bedroom apt with mat. i'm really looking forward to it. no more shitty landlord, less fascist cleaning demands, plus we can paint murals on the walls! and i can get a cat! mat's allergic, but he knows i want one, so was already looking in the paper and found a hairless cat for sale. a hairless cat would be tha bomb.

I got paid and bought almost one hundred dollars worth of groceries.
And then I got the estimate for my brake repairs. Ugh.
