i'm worried that someday our technology will be so infused with our being that we won't know how to live without it.
and there are only a few who know how to create. we have all of these devices that we depend on, but little knowledge of how they work or come into being.
i'm afraid there will be some kind of breakdown.
and we will have used up everything we had on earth in favor of synthetics, which will have failed us.
i'm worried that we too often feel the need to upgrade and become incapable of being satisfied with the way things are. i don't think the newest is always the best, and we may strive so hard for the new that the good is lost forever.
but that's not something i think i can do much about, save for living my life the best i can and trying not to let it happen to me.
life has a way of periodically becoming much more complicated.

i'm not too worried about that. . .that's about the point where the earth fights back and kills off humans, and lives happily ever after, human free!
