Some people wonder why I pay so much attention to these issues, some think it's because I do like Women...like a lot and stuff. But however misguided, mysogistic, sexist, whatever you want to call that, I think or at least hope its more from growing up in a house full of Women. Especially with a single Mom in the 70's who was very independent. I wasn't just told to treat Women as equals, I pretty much had to accept they were superior, aside from heavy lifting and other physical or height related tasks. Otherwise my sister would definitely kick my ass, but Im digressing...
I do however, also feel that since I have a medium to reach people, I have a responsibility to my Mother to help prevent the life she knew growing up for Women. She expects this much from me.

The Civil War is not only deeply etched in history, but in MY FAMILY's history as well. Yes I watched Ken Burns doc series on Netflix this week. Reminds me of times Ive traveled below the Mason-Dixon line for work fun and adventures...
