it's been a week since i posted.
i'm not sick anymore, but i don't really have anything new to post about. ophelia is perfect. i have lots of toys (because she buys them for me) there's lots of good music around... i'm just happy.

i hate being sick.
hate hate hate.

even if it is just a cold, tho, so it should pass soon.

remember back in high school, when girls night out used to coincide with guys night out?
somehow i've lost that rhythm, so now girls night out coincides with me playing lots of video games

i left my old job because of this sort of bullshit.
i do _NOT_ want to be dealing with this again.

since the first half of this weekend has been so grown-up, we have been compensating today by watching all off the O.C. first season.
yesterday we met with a new immigration lawyer, filed taxes, dressed like respectable adults, and all that crap.
you know, in between hepburn's beer and loathing party, and dinner at the emerald city with slumberjacker, ladyk, and sorcha...

due to some freak electromagnetic field near my desk, the only monitor i can use is a 20" apple cinema display
i get to ride the train longer with my opheliar, too.
the people aren't as interesting as when i started at k2, but they're nicer than when i left.

i've had two days off between jobs, with which i've done nothing particularly useful.
monday and tuesday i'm going to peoria. god knows how entertaining that'll be. so i'll sit on my wife's ibook and chat to her the entire time. it's really weird, cos i want to get started at my new job...
