so, holidays are over. life goes back to normal, which is always the fear. i have a shmancy new profile picture compliments of my wife and our sony dsc-w1 that we got from my parents for xmas.
apparently the rationale for getting us this model is so that my mom can call me for tech support, since she has the same one. which she got because it was the one synnove wanted, so it must be good. or something.
new years was nice and simple this year. since my girl and i couldn't afford to make it to springfield, we stayed in and watched cheesy movies and snuggled lots (more). stupid job not being able to pay me. but it was nice. oh so nice. having an opheliar for the rest of my life makes me very happy.
back to work on monday. early, so i can finish migrating our main file/print server to linux. hopefully getting paid again. for the rest of last month's paycheck. what do we suppose the odds are for january's check comming in on time?
