so i finally got most of my missing info today and filed for unemployment. i feel a bit silly for doing it now, but i HOPE HOPE HOPE it'll go through so i can stop having nightmares. hopefully i'll hear back by like wednesday maybe? i had to give them jim's house phone number just because it has a voicemail.

in related news, i applied for a sick job at the RI VA office. it's not too far away, i think the trolley goes past it kinda. if not, well, i can always walk. for $15 an hour i'll walk. maybe its time to get on a bicycle... eek.
if one of these two things actually goes through it'll be a damn miracle. i've had such bad luck with jobs i can't even believe it. next order of business- whole foods. then borders. when i'm done i'll have applied to every fucking store in providence! i don't want to work at a store though... i want a normal real job that i can work at for longer than a year. wouldn't THAT be nice. how old am i now? ugh.

i collected un-employment for six months after being laid off...as long as you paid into it by working and paying taxes at some point in the past, you should qualify....good luck
