It's OK, something just clicked yesterday afternoon and I think I've done the right thing with Dave. He's completely in agreement with the split and thinks we've gone out on a high. I've been speaking to him on the phone the last three days and it's actually been better for us to talk as mates rather than try and maintain a relationship- I'm being better to him as a mate than a girlfriend who can do nothing but take at the moment. And I'm really pleased to have him as one of my best mates- after all he is the one person I know that talks more than me!
As for my mate, I think I may see how things go. He's fully aware of the situation (and my current depression) and is being really supportive (as is Dave, I must add).
And work? Yeah, that's the major issue at the mo. I had a better day today than yesterday but I'm not being optimistic because optimism has a funny way of biting you on the arse.
I'm sooo glad you like yr pressies- I couldn't resist the boxes, especially the kitty one!
Let me know when you can come up to Chester. I have my car now so I can drive us places!
