5:45pm arrive in downtown minneapolis.
5:49pm Buy coffee at starbucks because it is fuckin' cold. Meanwhile husband walks over to the 7th street entry to buy our tickets. Find out they aren't selling them until 8pm.
5:50pm walk around the skyway to find something to eat.
6:15pm Eat dinner at panera bread
7pm walk back to the Entry and notice that there is no line yet so we walk over to an irish pub and buy some beer.
7:35pm Get in line to see Jon Lajoie. we get to see him as he gets out of a red van and walks into the entry. I almost faint. We were about 25 people deep in the line.
Freeze our asses off waiting for them to open the doors and let us get our tickets.
8:05pm Dovanna calls me on my phone to say she's here. She walks up to us in line, she has her ticket. She just walked right in the door and bought a ticket. Even though several people are waiting in line, they sold her a ticket.
8:10 show the guy my ID and get a bracelet.
8:11 get turned away because they are SOLD OUT OF FUCKING TICKETS!
The rest of the night was spent crying and being angry. FUCKING IRONIC! If you want to know how the show that I've been waiting for a month to see was you'll have to find out from Dovanna.
For the record, I am not upset with Dovanna, but the irony of the whole situation pisses me off to no end.
