I've read them all as they were translated only as recent as the last 9 years. They do give a better feel to the characters & certainly fleshes them out

@sosfanbach We're kindred spirits in that regard. I love Little My as well, she's fearless, spunky & rude as you say, but that's because she's a free spirit. From what I've gleaned o your musings on this site you share her forthrightness which is always good to keep people on the straight & narrow ;). Snufkin was my favorite, he's a mysterious rogue yet similarly loyal to his adopted family
