ok so the babies are getting bigger already. It is now day 4... the mother is being very protective, she bit me today just for taking a picture and putting food in the cage... I can online imagine what's going to happen when I try to clean the cage...

Oh man, how'd they mate? Good luck finding great homes for them, try posting in the adoption thread on "rats rule" forum at goosemoose.com, Ive always had much luck there .. but do it ASAP or else ppl wont want them cuz they'll be "grown up". Momma will be fine to pickup if u lure her away from the litter with food, use an oven mitt to be sure. Once shes away from the pups she'll be fine, and when they get their eyes and fur she should stop altogther. Im sure u know this though smile
