I'm at work and I am so bored right now. It is very slow right now but earlier there was so much going on. We had about four people coming in requesting badges, a summer temp come in and no one knew who authorized her to be here, a medical emergency and a whole lot of people that we had to look up on the cameras because they didn't swip out at their departments at the end of their shift.
The medical emergency was that a woman fell in the parking lot. She may have sprained or broken her ankle, we haven't heard yet. Medical called an ambulance. The big issue is that someone in Hasbro called and left a nasty message on the client's voicemail (my boss's boss) saying that the security crew don't know the procedure of a medical emergency. Ed, the client, looked into everything and emailed him back and we eventually got an apology because once they looked at the camera it shows that we responded quicker than Medical did.
The summer temp thing was about a girl that has been here for the past few summers as a summer intern and she had a badge. My coworker recognized her so I let her in. When a woman from HR came in to get a badge from someone else she found out that we let her in and flipped out. She started accusing me of letting someone in without authorization and everything. Finally she found out that someone else authorized her to come in but didn't tell HR. I was so pissed. I so wanted to get up and yell at this woman and tell her 'if you are mad at someone don't put the blame on someone else.' Ed said something to her about it but I haven't heard what happened yet.
My boss called me this morning at work, he is at a training meeting today. He asked if I could work an overnight tonight and then work my usual shift tomorrow morning. I had taken saturday and sunday off so I said yes so I can get back some of my hours. So now I'm working from 11pm tonight until 3pm tomorrow afternoon. Yuck! I'm going to bring my laptop with me tonight and try to work on school work. I've been working on the next booklet in the program for about a week. I should be able to finish it tonight.
I might play a bit of Diablo 2 as well

I'm just pissed at the world because people are annoying and I'm just having a crisis over what to do with my future...things can never be easy
