So far today has been crappy. Tried to get my foot in a shoe again, no luck. Got to work and my bag decided to spit out a bunch of cards and my cigarette case, which also flew open and spilled all of its contents all over the ground. I asked a woman that walked past me to help. I thanked her a few times. Then as I was going up the few steps to get to my work post I fell... I landed on my right knee instead of my left. So my right knee hurts a bit. I'm more embarassed than anything. I did it in front of a bunch of factory workers that were coming out to leave for the day.


I just almost yelled at my co-worker. I was looking over pictures on the internet of all the flooding in MA and he looked at a few. He then sai, "It's nothing like the flood in New Orleans so just look past it," or something like that. I just turned around and said that, no it isn't as bad but it is still affecting peoples' lives and he just repeated "but not as bad as New Orleans." My voice started to rise at this point when I said "No, it's not as bad but people are still affected so it's an issue just the same as what happened in the south." He just kept repeating himself then said, "Don't let it affect your life." What a friggin self-centered asshole! No, it does not affect my life just as what happened in the south did not. But I can still care about the incidents. Yes, it is horrible what happened in New Orleans. But what is happening in MA is happening NOW. Why would you say that one is worse than another? People are still suffering! Grrrr.... !! I got so mad at that.
