work tonight was probably the worst night ever.
I got hydrofluoric acid and hydrochloric acid on my fingers. HF is definetly the scarier of the two, as that HCL will only burn you. HF will suck the calcium and magnesium out of your body, causing organ failure, and then death. Oh yeah, and it hurts. A lot.
I spent 20 minutes with my hand in ice cold water, then had calcium gluconate rubbed on my hand for another 20 minutes, and then 20 more minutes of the water.
Then I went to the emergency room.
I so glad to be home.
