Oi vey. I didn't realize that I hadn't made a new journal in forever.
Um... lots of shit been going on. My hard drive, after nearly 8 years of faithful service, died a couple weeks ago, which is why I just plain wasn't online for over a week.
I asked to be transfered out of the branch I was working in because I fucking despised it there, and now I'm a little happier, but I'm getting complacent. I used to be happy to go to work, even excited some days, but the people at the other branch have seriously fucked things up for me, so I just don't really care anymore.
We got a stress crack in our windsheild, which of course, we had to replace because it was obstructing the drivers field of vision, which would get us a ticket in a hot second. And since I haven't exactly gotten my license un-suspended, that would be super bad. (By the way, I'm not like some evil drunk driver or anything, I just didn't turn in my tags because I didn't know I had to, and I wracked up a massive $400 fine at the south carolina dmv, which I don't really want to pay.)
But, I got us a nice, and cheap, surround sound system and A NEW RUG!
Yes, I'm more excited about the rug than the surround sound.
When we moved in here, I got a cheapass rug from Home Depot, and it really truly was cheap. This one cost around 70 bucks, but it's plush man. It's plushish goodness.
I need to stop spending though. Doesn't help that Jordan literally has a list of all the stuff he wants to get, most of which being CDs. I told him to prioritize it and that we'll work on it. Thankfully, we both get paid on Thursday (exactly when I need to pay a credit card bill and our insurance), and I'll be getting a three week paycheck at the end of the month, which will be a lot higher than usual, AND Jordan's working two overtime days on his end of the month paycheck, which will make that one a nice bit higher than usual. I also worked a full week last week, meaning I had no day off, which will also help.
But umm, yeah, that seems to be about all. My life is super boring nowadays, even though life keeps trying to throw me curve balls. I just simply don't care 'bout it anymore.
Oh yeah, I'm also really close to applying to where Jordan works because he makes so much more money than I do, and we'd actually be able to see each other for more than an hour a day.

I understand the whole job complascency thing. I'm there too. I need a change. Actually, I think I need a change in just about everything. I have some Gypsy blood so I like things to change often.
