So... fun times fun times.

Jordan and I were doing stuff in the bedroom/bathroom, and we realized that the water was turned off. No biggie, they do that from time to time, working on water lines and what not.

Well, we finished what we were doing, and went to go to sleep, and suddenly we hear a noise... kinda sounds like a dish dropping. Didn't sound like it broke, so, we went back to sleep.

Suddenly, Spirit starts meowing like crazy, so, I went to see what was wrong.

The kitchen floor is completely flooded.


What happened is that they turned off the water, then turned it back on, and the pressure was too much, so, the kitchen faucet lines sprung a leak.

So, I turn off the water, mop up the water as best I could, and went to get help.

It's all fixed now, but, I just spent the better part of an hour cleaning up massive amounts of water, and the carpet next to the kitchen is soaked.

Blargh.
