The summer is drawing near, and I'm getting tan.
That's right, I said tan.
It's the Cherokee in me. Come summer, I turn brown. And I use sunscreen like crazy, it's insane. Not complaining though. I can remember when the Cherokee in me was.. dormant I guess you could say. The Irish in me was prevailing, because I could NOT tan. I'd burn and freckle. And once I was 16, all of that changed. Not sure why, not sure how, but, now I just think about the sun and my skin darkens.
I had such beautiful milk white skin too...
Happy with this though. Makes me feel close to my roots.
