Recently, I was able to visit Steamboat Springs for the first time and I was not disappointed. It was the most beautiful drive I think I've ever been on. The drive is straight through the mountains and all the leaves had just begun to change ^.^ I was oohing and awhing around every bend.

Made it up to Red Feather Lakes a few weeks ago. Hiked a beautiful trail, Lady Moon, to Disappointment Falls. The name. as expect, was a bit deceiving and I was fairly satisfied. Love your blog and beautiful photos, so pretty. I try to plan all my vacation around National Forest and State Forest. And camped in the Great Smoky Mountain National Forest earlier in 2021. I've been to almost all of them including the California and west coast National Forest and Yellowstone and this month the Black Hills of SD and Mount Rushmore National Monument. Living in Kentucky we have some beautiful National Forest and State Forest. Mammoth Cave National Forest, Daniel Boon State Forest, Big South Fork National Forest and River between Kentucky and Tennessee. And my favorite forest in the United States is Red River Gorge also know as Nature Bridge State Forest. A favorite place of mine to go camping.
