So what's been happening the last few weeks...
I worked the U2 show which rolled through Oakland last week. The Load in lasted 4 days because their stage is the biggest thing I've ever seen. The alien spaceship theme was awesome and I also got to see the show from backstage because I worked the load out as well. Bono is such a boner but he's also a damn good rock star. I also stayed at a friend's house in Oakland for a few days so I didn't have to make the drive across the bay every day.
The loans I owed back to my mother have all been paid off, whoo! Tuition and car repairs are finally behind me, I can settle into funneling all my money away for moving and new location living expenses.
Bought a new address book for all of the addresses I'm going to want/need when I move out of the Bay Area. I love postcards and I'm bringing them back dammit!
Some bands I've come around on after initial dislike: Airborne Toxic Event, Snow Patrol. I'm getting soft in my old age.
Looking forward to muzz coming to visit in July. Finally all of the boring parts of Redwood City will be interesting to someone.
