so, a funny story about last night:

so last month when i was looking for places to live i interviewed at this apartment in the inner sunset and i really liked the place and the roommies were cool too. i really hoped to get the place but they called me the next weekend and i didn't get the room, oh well. well flash forward to last night where i'm hanging out with my dude friend eric and he says that he has a party he wants to go to with this girl he met on campus named nina. well i tag along with him and as i'm walking towards the building i realize this is all eerily familiar. as we arrive i realize it is the place i wanted to get a room in weeks earlier and my suspicions are confirmed when i see nina answer the door and she was one of the interviewers. needless to say it was mildly awkward though quite congenial since i ended up at a nice place anyhow, but there was a good amount of ribbing the whole night about me being 'rejected' but somehow managing to find my way back anyways........

but, no shit, it's a small freaking world, considering the interview, rejection, and subsequent accidental party invite by my friend happened within the last 2-3 weeks...... total mind fuck.

so i drank some good beers at the house, met some nice people, dance to spanish mariachi techno (i know, i know....................i don't know)

played frisbee golf today, then some real ultimate frisbee across the park too. ate a sweet loco moco at a local hawaiian bbq place, yum.
