It has been a few days since i have last written not realizing that my SG subscription was renewed the start of June..... i guess know where that extra bit of spending money went, meh fuck it i was torn between renewing or not would not be the first time the first year i joined i ended up cancelling my subscription and deleting everything i wrote leaving a fresh slate for if i ever did return. I am slowly trying to reconnect to the world around be after so many years of distancing myself and disconnecting myself from main stream society. It has been easier to write and get my thoughts out here than on FB thats for sure i still dont know about speaking freely on that medium.
Right now i am living my final 2 weeks of living and working on Vancouver island as i prepare to leave on July 1st the closer it gets the more excited i get for this change of my reality and trying to pursue something i enjoy but given that i am seriously out of practice since i have not been able to consistently draw or be creative this last year i have a rough road ahead of me with alot of long nights and really focusing my projects while trying to still visit friends and family and hopefully help them out with what ever they need help with as i go.
Recently i just picked up more wrapping material to make more jewelry i already have friends asking me about selling them pieces or making custom pieces for them which is awesome considering i have only been at it for a month and really just jumped into because i was already interested in making jewelry. Lately i am drawing more which is great i am in the progress of fine tuning some drawings to make into stickers and i want to start making board designs as well too, so hopefully by next week i will have something more concrete started.
How was everyones summer solstices?? did you get up to anything? i ended up going to first summer awakening you could say it was very interesting there was tons of singing , chanting howling at the moon it was really cool and very primal. The group who put it together where all very open and very free at one point two of the guys ended up going for a skinny dip in the ocean ha ha it was awesome. I really need to get a drum and a guitar so i jam out in my van with strangers and maybe pull out my harmonica and sing a song ha ha that would be sweet.
