Get some stirring music.
As the music plays remember the people that you have met over the years.
Make them appear as if they are the stars/characters in your movie, during the credits (at the begining or end of a movie).
For example the A Team shows a couple of shots of each character - Hannibal turning towards the camera with a cheesy grin, Howling mad murdock in a wedding dress.
Make each shot as cinematographic as possible, Lord of the Rings style, rich ,deep and sensory.
Run each character for a few seconds then fade to the next one.
Its about enjoyng only the good memories.
Be grateful for the lessons that you learnt - no matter how painful.
This should remind you of the abundance in your life.

bitterness, hate, etc are signs that you haven't learnt from that experience yet.
