Ah me the sweet sound of gabba. Despite being pretty skint I spent money on petrol and drove for hours just to get a few solid hours dancing. I really like Industrial techno, gabba, hardcore, whatever name it currently goes under. The music just works - it makes me feel alive! So the drive was well worth the time and money. Sometimes, when I am lucky and there is a conjunction between the music and my state of mind; I loose myself, I am shaman. And for a few timeless hours I dance the dance of the nutter - selfless and connected in a concrete jungle. But don't tell anyone because to everyone else it just looks like I am on drugs ; )

I took a beautiful girlfriend with me (her partner had offered to babysit!). It was great to have the time just to chat. Her second baby is nearly one, so when we talk I get a voyeristic insite into having sprogs. Indeed I am now fully informed should I have to engage in a Disposable vs. Washable Nappy debate. Its weird talking 'babies' for so long with her both makes me broody and puts me off!

At about 4am we went past a shiny bright ubermarket on stilts. We wouldn't help it, like moths to a lamp; we had to go shopping! The stilts meant that there was ample parking underneath, great design. With no queues and complete convenience it was fantastic! I bought most of my weekly shop (they even had organic Rice milk!) and we only spent 10 minutes in the baby cloths section.
