I ended up being in a really good mood all night after reading my rejection letter. (I got the form letter this time. Last time they were so much sweeter and told me to resend as soon as I had anything. I still got another year for free. haha)

So I might not get paid for them, but I have something to look at the realize how skinny I've gotten (except for two at the end in which I look a bit stocky. haha) and appreciate the hard work I've been doing since June (check out those back/shoulder/arm muscles!). AND my soldier has a little something to keep him from getting lonely when he goes back to Iraq this summer.
Yeah, my Matty has to go back for 13-18 months starting this summer. Just when we were starting to get really close again. I can tell when I talk to him that it's really eating him up inside. Erm. My baby. I jsut want to hold him and let him cry or something. Y'all have no idea how much that man means to me. . . First guy I ever slept with. Closest I've ever been to being in love.
I can't wait to see him next weekend. I can tell he's getting excited too. He's started making plans for how best to get me to his house. He's paying for my gas and everything. He wants to cook for me too! (He's a meat-eater!)
I talked to his mama on the phone for a while today before I got to work. She sent me a sympathy card since my grampa died. I adore that woman; she's an absolute doll. SHe's the reason Matty is so wonderful I think.
OH! That paper I wrote about Jewish women poets? Yeah. I'm developing that for publication!!!!!!!!! My professor is really interested in it (it's the area in which she wrote her dissertation) and wants to help me with it. And I get to turn it in as my senior thesis at the end of the semest. WEE!
