So I found out the other day that there was a big switchover at SGHQ and anyone who had applied before June or something had to reapply. . . So. . .

I applied to be an Suicide Girl today.

Except for the first one, these are all shitty camphone pics, so I don't know how well this is going to go.

Either way, I have a photographer set up to shoot me. She's amazing at what she does. Artist. Feminist. Interested in visual ethnography and the exploration of identity through photography. Big Nan Goldin fan. We're both fashion dorks, so we'll see what happens. We're meeting tomorrow to set up storyboards and shit for two sets we're going to shoot. I'm already assuming I'll be accepted since I was the first time I applied. I had better quality photos then (courtesy of Kiska), but they weren't as expressive as those up there.

***edit next day: I was "accepted" so far. Just gotta shoot and paperwork it.
