Saw my adorable Canadian again tonight. :-)

So sweet again.

We've been textng all week (Come at my home make homework).

I have a big crush. haha

His friends from the team are being kinda silly, but he's such a gentleman. It's different. Nice.

Poor baby got hit in the face during the game tonight. Poor sweetie. His eye was puffy and cut. blackeyed But they won both games this weekend. biggrin

After work, we went to Waffle House. My god the ridiculous shit that happened there. . . Hilarity.

I might be going ice skating tomorrow. biggrin AND I might get to pet a camel!!!!!!!!

And might get to see my Canadian later in the week. . . love haha

Yeah, Bar -B - Q sauce is my second fave on fries.
I make my own.
It's very easy!
And waaaay good!
I can give you a semblance of a recipe if you want.
We had some of mine, ran out, and had some store-bought from the fridge -
What a difference!
The store-bought is so chemical-tasting.

Scared or scarred?
Probably both!

Ok, so I don't have a recipe but -

You start with a whole small can of tomato paste and put it in a pan on the stove.
Then you add the following:

Cider or white vinegar (crucial) - 1/4 cup or so

Maple Syrup and/or

Molasses (highly recommended - use at least some)and/or

Brown Sugar and/or

Honey

Worcester Sauce (I use a couple of dashes)

Salt (I don't know how much - a lot)

Mustard (I use dijon, but I've read recipes with dried mustard) (a tablespoon or 2)

Chopped clove of garlic (when I remember)

Cayenne pepper (teaspoon? 1/2 a teaspoon?)

And some water to thin it out a little bit

Simmer for like an hour or so

Voila!

I read the label on a bottle of natural bbq sauce and realized "hey, I could make this!", so I had no recipe or anything.
I just threw a buch of stuff in a pot an cooked it and it turned out great!
So, I like mine sweet, so I put both maple syrup and molasses.
Molasses is strong-tasting, so it's easy to use too much, but it's also a really common flavor in bbq sauce, so I always use it - like maybe 2 tablespoons.
Just relax and go nuts and put whatever you want in there!
