I would just like to state for the record that 300 is the most awesome movie I have seen in awhile now. It kicks at least 9 different kinds of Ass, and I highly recommend you go see it.

Also one of the hottest movies I've ever seen, the 'stylized' filming wasn't just limited to the Action scenes, -that's- for sure...

Fixed!

It's nice to be mobile again. Too bad is was to the tune of $1000, but I suppose that's why I pay premiums on insurance, as they covered most of it.

Jeez I wish I could get out this weekend, I've been cooped-up _way_ too long for my liking. I just don't know what I would do or where I would go...

Just had my car break down. Must be the bestest time of my life! They say it's the transmission, and it's 'serious', not like the simple linkage problems I've had in the past. Ugh.

I suppose I should update more often if I should expect more of a response. Possibly getting out there and actually trying to make friends would help as well...

Recently I've had a rather strange contradiction. I feel like a super Nerd, but I really lack the 'hands on' experience of actually being a nerd because of my self-imposed stigma of being a Nerd.

I've been a nerd my whole life, but I didn't realize it til college (I was in my own little world, assuming that I was normal and everyone else was weird tongue ), and now, it's cool to one. Odd, eh?

I was a pretty boy in a blue uniform for most of my Army time, though I did get to spend some lovely time in Africa getting shot at, just to prove that no matter how bad it gets, you can add bullets to make it worse. I wouldn't consider 'The Old Guard' an easy assignment. 12+hr workdays, 3000+ funerals (by my own count), insufferable perfection considered 'normal', and pretty much no recongnition at all. It's unsurprising to me at least that there were over 150 divorces and 13 suicide attempts (9 successful) in my 2yrs stationed there, this from a unit size of only 750 or so.
