Ode to Coffee Girl

her hair blonde, mussed, inviting
you know? she's really
not my normal type

i wanted nothing more
than to have her touch me
clearly she didn't remember
she answered the phone,
started talking, turning away

reminded me

and the tibetan book of the dead is very very different than the egyptian. a better title would be the tibetan book of the living. read it if you want to know what i mean.

So where did you study composition? Is that the origin of your interest in audio gear mods? I remember reading an interview with Keith Whitman (Hrvatski) talking about how modding old synths made him nearly fail at Berklee b/c the professors didn't see it as a valid musical practice.

I don't know how long you've lived in New York, but do you remember Kozmo? Bike messengers with orange bags delivering movies on demand? Since subscribing to Netflix, I've kind of wished they could provide some sort of premium fee Kozmo-style thing. But yes, otherwise Netflix is great, even though I kind of feel guilty about giving my local indie shops the shaft.
