where's my head? i've been so busy, i forgot my journal. Ronald Reagan is dead, terrifyingly sad for me, to the point of tears. he was responsible for so many of my early political memories, and at the centerpoint of my turn from young uninformed liberal to the free marketeer i am today. he will be missed.

However, in retrospect, I will agree that Kerry will most likely talk big and do nothing. But at least his talk is good natured...
All I've seen in a majority of news articles referring to our current prez would be him cutting down legislation aimed at protecting our environment, giving his old oil buddies as much throwback as possible, and being (for lack of a better word) a complete jackass. Even his own Republican counterparts don't support such idiotic decisions as instating an "anti-equal-rights" judge in the supreme court.
One day, even loyal Republicans will be forced to admit that Bush and his staff resemble nothing more than a load of capitalist fatcat morons hell-bent on either owning or destroying every aspect of America.
