The best day: Thoughs on how SG has changed my life.

Yesterday was an amazing day. I spent it hanging with SG royalty @machete and her family. They live on a beautiful farm in a rural area. Once I actually found their place, which I dubbed "CIA headquarters" because it was so hard to find, I finally got to know her husband and meet the best behaved baby I've ever been around. And her little girl inherited her mother's blue eyes. Watch out world. Future heartbreaker in the house.

Growing up in suburban NJ and spending summers at the NJ shore, I'd never been up close and personal with a horse. Until yesterday. I'd seen on Machete's Instagram that John listens to the radio all day and is a chill and friendly horse. But it was quite the experience for this dude actually standing next to him in his stall. Horses are large and majestic animals.

If you follow @Machete's instagram, you already know her dogs, Bass and Boozer. Finally getting to meet them was a blast. I am a friend of all animals and Bass was at my side for 95% of the time I was there and I'm not complaining. He's a great dog.

There have been a lot of blogs recently with SG's and Hopefuls talking about how SG has changed their life. Mine will never be the same as I would not have gotten to know Machete if we hadn't become friends through here. One of the things I've enjoyed most about being a member is that the girls are real and personable if you aren't a douchenozzle to them and treat them with respect. Having become such good friends with her, I've gotten an insider's view of the shit a lot of the male member pull and I understand why a lot of the models are defensive. But just because they choose to express themselves by posing for the site, doesn't mean they want to hear your pervy thoughts or see pics of your junk. There are threads for that in the groups and if the girl is into is she will let you know. It's your own fault that these women won't talk to most of the male members. I wouldn't want to either.

Ok, ending my rant and off my soapbox. But that's my SG experience. Thanks for getting to know one of the greatest models in the history of SG personally, my experience has been amazing. I've gotten to meet one of the superstar photographers and a bunch of other SGs. I was invited to her wedding and on TV as a result. And Machete has become a great friend that I an talk to about anything and get unfiltered advice from when I need it. And she knits like a motherfucker. And her house has yarn as far as the eye can see and I know I didn't get to see all of it because her husband told me as much.
