Bad luck comes in threes. I've always believed that. It seems there's a set in progress surrounding my ex. First, there was the mysterious virus I learned that she had that I talked about in my last blog. Now I found out that her father died and was buried today. That means she was less than a mile from where I live. That thought was quite unsettling when I realized it.

To recap - the first was a crippling virus, the second a death. What's the third going to be - seems like it will be pretty major. I haven't talked to her in years, yet I keep getting informed about these happenings. That's also unsettling. I'm sure I'll find out about the third - and I'm not sure I want to know. If it's bigger than the first two, it's a frightening prospect. But these things always come in threes.
