Interesting start to the day. I am parking in the parking garage at work and see a very cute stuffed animal in the rear window of the car 2 spaces over. I look again, and it's now looking at me from the drivers seat window. Some asshole left their little dog in the parking garage and went in to work. I see a friend walking towards the stair and signal her over and point at the car. She does a double take and say 'oh no... someone didn't" and I tell her to read me the license number. We walk into the security office but it's closed up. So we go over the the security station and I see the guard who I know and before I can say a word, he says "You are the 5th or 6th person to tell me about the dog. I'm dealing with it." Apparently, this girl's boyfriend was coming at some point that morning to pick him up, but he had already been down there 2 hours. I'm next informed that the situation will be resolved in 1/2 hour so I tell my friend that I will go back down and check. I do. Fortunately, she left work to take the dog where he was going.

What the fuck is wrong with some people that they could leave an obviously sweet dog down in a parking garage to breathe in all those fumes for hours. Make arrangements. IT'S PART OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF HAVING A PET. I am glad that I was not the only person who got pissed off about this - it is the silver lining.
