This will sound totally stupid, but it actually has me upset. Part of my Saturday errand ritual is the dry cleaners to drop off and pick up work shirts. I've been going to the same family owned shop for the past 7 years. A very nice couple who are Yankee and Giant fans. Even tho I am NOT a Yankee fan, I would talk to her, a passionate Yankee fan, about the team and the season all summer long. Today, she tells me not to bring in shirts next week, just pick up. They are closing the shop - business is slow and they have been losing money. I am feeling a bit stunned like I am losing a member of the extended family.

NFL draft starts in 5 minutes. I enjoy having it on and seeing what the teams do to improve or how some perpetually screw up and stay lousy forever.
