Morning People. I really need to write more. Well ok whats your take on Fifty Shades of Gray. Some of my lit. friends got all up in arms about this. Its not trying to be a classic. Its a trashy summer read that is fun more than once. I personally love it! Its sex being bad having fun wanting more then more again. Drop your thoughts here and let me know what you think. Mostly ladies I'm sure but guys if you have not read this you might want to check this out. That is advice from my lady friends

i haven't read all the books...but from what i have read, and heard...her writing ability is HORRIBLE. but my real issue lies in the fact that she takes BDSM and turns it into something is not really bothers me. bondage shouldn't be about truly fearing your partner, which the girl does in the book. she is really afraid of him, and doesn't know if he's going to go too far. i don't like that. i also hate that if these housewives that are reading it and loving it, saw a bondage site BEFORE the book, they would have thought it was disgusting and wrong...yet now...if you add a tie and some dysfunctional romance, it's all okay. just my opinion...but it just annoys me that most of society has slanted views on certain sexual preferences, but now cause it's being romanticized it's all okay, and they are like pioneers in the area. i mean sales of ball gags and restraints have gone up like 50% for most sex shops, just tell me that these women would have bought that stuff BEFORE the book? of course not! grrr makes me angry.
