C R U I S I N G to A S I A ---- the only way to travel !
OK, I am (almost) on my way.
Today I paid for my cruise trip to south east Asia, on the good ship Sun Princess. This is a floating, luxury hotel:

The ship will depart the port of Fremantle (port to the city of Perth) in the afternoon of the 3rd of July, heading north for Asia. It will stop along the western coast of the Malay peninsular, stopping at the major tourist spots. From there it will return to Fremantle where its passengers will disembark after 16 days at sea. However, I will be getting off the ship in Singapore, which will begin my 2009 Asian odyssey.
I look forward to an extremely enjoyable experience: good food and good times. Part of my motivation for going on a cruise is that my half brother and his family are also going on the cruise. It will be a great chance to bond and do some fun family things together.
While on board I will be incommunicado. The internet is available, but it is $1 minute via satellite -- expensive. However, rest assured, between the fine cuisine, the extravagant luxury, and amusing activities, I wlll be thinking of my SG friends.
