Almost ready, to leave Australia.

Today I will be picking up my passport with my shiny new six month Thai visa. I will be able to stay in the land of the smile for 6 months before having to get a new visa, cool. The entire Thai visa thing is tricky, but it can be worked.

I feel a profound sense of relaxation as I contemplate my departure. I feel like I will be leaving behind a lot of stress and problems, which is true. Most of these problems have been solved over the last six months, but the emotional baggage remains. A few years overseas is just what the Dr ordered for me, or if he did not then he should have.

It will still be another week or three before I leave, it is amazing the goodbyes and details one needs to take care of, but soon I will be winging my way northwards to Singapore, and from there onwards to Thailand.
